PaloJiote.com is intended as a Open Source Information center on Palo Jiote, the bark of which has been used by the Mayan People both topically and as a tea. You may grow your own free (in Semi Tropical & Tropical Conditions) and as Tea anyone can make by cutting off a strip of Bark and boiling, preferably in high quality Distilled or Reverse Osmosis water. Most people bring water to boil with tea bark in it but not to make it so strong as to make it taste bad just as if you were making tea. The product can then be drank hot or cold or mixed with something else, normally taking before meals, 2 or 3 cups a day or applying to skin topically several times a day.

Originally we intended to make this available as my wifes Acid Reflux went away after using this for about 3 weeks, prior to that she was on prescription medication for the previous couple years.

We also found a  cancer study on the internet and my wife has tried PaloJiote on what doctors thought may be skin cancer, my wife has had 4 marks reduce and 1 even disappeared using this both as a tea and topically. The 2nd that disappeared had also been treated with a prescription to try speeding up the removal. We can not say the marks were cancerous but a doctor recommended removal and when 2 of the 4 that had reduced but not disappeared were removed by a plastic surgeon and biopsied they were deemed benign.

We also know of people that took this that were diagnosed with late stage terminal cancer and they did die, but survived an extra 6 months beyond doctors expectations. An important note, they followed all current medical treatment only trying this as an addition.

Warnings: Even peanuts are lethal to some people so test with caution any new food or lotion you are trying the first time. Also this tree is known to grow beside a tree known to cause severe skin irritation in the tropics and could be lethal if swallowed so be aware of what you are cutting if harvesting yourself.
